Change Benefit 2011 to Stop Abuse & Bullying
Brian, was born with Asperger's Syndrome and a rare congenital heart defect. He had terrible scarring from surgeries and acted different from other children. So he was bullied and abused all through life. Yet he had this awesome sense of humor and amazing way of forgiving his bullies, loving them, and always lived his life to the fullest. He was passionate about helping others so they wouldn't have to suffer the pain he did.
Even though he'd been on the heart transplant list for five years, he wanted a job, cooked for his family every day, helped with the dogs in the Abuse Bites program, and walked in parades all summer in the scorching heat to bless children and spread awareness about abuse.
He always talked about traveling all over the USA to stop abuse, bullying and violence.
After Brian passed away, his family found a small jar of "change" he'd been saving and that's where they came up with the idea to help others who are being bullied and abused by having a "CHANGE of HEART" for BRIAN and collecting "change" to stop bullying.
"Our family's goal is to travel all over the USA to stop abuse, bullying, violence in our son's memory and honor. But we need your support and donations. Please help us!" -Lisa Freeman
